There are other ways to get fit or stay fit without committing to a costly gym membership. Here are few fun ways to get out of the gym:

1. Create your own bootcamp
Bootcamp-style workouts can be fun and challenging. This way you can create your own that best fits you. All you need is a good pair of sneakers, some strength plus cardio exercises, and you can do it at home or outside at a park.

2. Join a team
It can be difficult and dull dragging yourself to the gym. Signing up for an adult’s sports league can be fun since you are literally making a game of working out.

3. Take a walking tour of your city
Walking can be an easy and relaxing workout. Just wear some supportive shoes and walk anywhere you would like.

4. Sign up for an obstacle-course race
Obstacle races are becoming very popular all over the country. Most combine fitness with fun and adventure. It can be an exciting way to workout. You could even talk some friends into joining you!

5. Take a hike
Hiking is a great way to get your heart pumping while enjoying some fresh air in the great outdoors. Grab a friend or a few and enjoy the scenery and feeling of accomplishment after the hike.
